1. Open new Word documents and settings as follows:
Set paper size: 21 cm x 29.7 cm.
Set the Margin Settings to:Top: 1.00", Bottom: 1.00", Left: 1.25", Right: 1.25"
2. TYPE THE PASSAGE below:
Generations of
Computers
The 1st
generation of computers used vacuum tubes as
a major piece of technology. Vacuum tubes were widely used in computers
from 1942 to 1955.
The 2nd
generation of computers saw the use of transistors
instead of vacuum tubes. Transistors were widely used in computers from 1955 to 1964.
The 3rd
generation of computers introduced the use of IC (integrated
circuits) in computers.
Integrated Circuits were widely used in computers from 1964 to 1975.

3. Change the format for the title:
Font = CASTELLAR , Font
Size = 17, Bold , Italic , Font color = Blue and Align = Center.
4. Rest of the text: Font size = 12 , Font
= Bell MT.
5. Change the format for the word “1st, 2nd, 3rd generation”: Font =14, Font
Color = Red,
Bold,
Italic, Jystufy, and Underline.
6. Use change case command to change the word “1st, 2nd, 3rd generation” to Uppercase.

Use the Font Dialog box to apply a double underline to the word “Vacuum Tubes”.
8. Apply text effects to the word “Generations of Computers" in the title of
the paragraph.
9. Adjust the line spacing to the whole document: 2.0 (double space).
10. Apply paragraph spacing before each paragraph: 30 pt.
